For those not living in the States
By Walter Anderson
Newsletters. What’s the best format? Text (with hyperlinks)? HTML? I guess it
is a personal choice. I prefer HTML, for two reasons. 1) It looks professional
2) It’s easy once you know the basics
And that ladies and gentlemen is what I’m going to show you today. Just copy
and paste this script into your html builder (free one online is called AceHTML
- do a search and you’ll find it.) add your content (change where marked below)
and you're ready to rock! Well, as promised in my last article, I have made available
a basic html email script for you to use. It uses many tables as I find this
easier to work with and they look nicer in an email. This is a script I use when
sending out my email newsletter. If you are interested in joining my newsletter
please visit this link: http://www.richardlee.here.ws (that’s my writing name
for horror novels. I have been known to use Walter T. Anderson for horror poetry.)
First off here is some Html to remember: something this
is a link to a section in your newsletter. Place where
you would like the article to go. Write article under this link. I have left
in the Word of Mouth section, feel free to use it and also the unsubscribe
section. This is needed in every newsletter. The green and red writing is where
you place
your own information. Any questions, just ask me!
